T&K Associates have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our Client in Loughborough on a permanent basis
As the QA Coordinator, you will be required to ensure the QMS & Quality standards within the business are applied, maintained and adhered to in the strictest manner.
You will be working to identify defects and find the cause of it to develop a solution.
You will be responsible for approving incoming materials, in-process productions and finished products, recording quality results. You will ensure the business is working to the latest and most up to date quality directives, methods and processed in line with the Companies QMS.
**Quality Assurance Coordinator** **Job Details & Benefits;**
- £25k-30k per annum
- 37 hours per week with an earlier finish on a Friday
- 33 days holiday including bank holidays
- 7.5% Employer pension contribution added to 3.5% employee contribution

**Quality Assurance Coordinator** **Role and Responsibilities include;**
- Approve incoming materials and finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials
- Monitor the operations to ensure they adhere to required production quality standards
- Work to and set the highest standard of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People
- Creation and maintenance of Production Assembly Instruction & shopfloor documentation
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs - summarising work, rejects and waste, inputting data into the quality database
- Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and maintaining calibration schedule
- Maintain Health & Safety requirements
- Responsible for leading root cause and corrective action projects
- Be a part of new product implementation steer groups to ensure quality standard and documentation are adhered to
- Contribute, collaborate and review all drawings
- Ownership or scrap process and warranty process
- Facilitate site audits from external bodies
- Liaise with supplies to ensure quality standards and documentation are adhered to
- Administration and maintenance of QMS to IS9001 - including internal and external audits
- Goods in / Finish goods inspection, including processing any non-conformities
- Completing warrant claims - receipt, assessment & logging
- Business process support
**Quality Assurance Coordinator** **Person Specification;**
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Tenacious attitude towards Quality and production conformance
- In depth understanding of Quality standards and processes, experience working with ISO 9001
- Experience with MRP / ERP Systems
- IT Literate and ability to use Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work to deadlines
- A good understanding of UK Health and Safety legislation
- A strong drive for continuous improvement
- Preferably a mechanical or electrical manufacturing background
