OFFICE has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supply Chain Coordinator. Description: Reporting into Head of Supply Chain and Distribution. Assist Head of Supply Chain and Logistics to ensure that the department effectively achieves its primary objectives. Supports and manages the importation service from origin to port to warehouse. Supports the distribution activities of goods from warehouses to stores, wholesale and web customers. Acting as main escalation point for all shipping related issues for both internal and external business parties. Main Duties: - Ensure all daily departmental tasks are carried out to high standard and service is maintained - Supervise the Supply Chain Assistant and carry out all training where required - Support Head of Supply Chain & Logistics to maintain and optimise all supply chain services - Be the primary escalation point for the business in dealing with any supply chain issues - Support customer services for resolving web customer delivery and claims issues with the carriers - Ensure delivery and collection services to stores are maintained. Resolve any issues and claims as they arise - Coordinate and ensure Selfridge’s deliveries - Support Head of Supply Chain & Logistics with projects - Ensure proper coding of tariffs and country and of origin (COO) for all styles and POs across all departments - Support the finance team (tax accountant and accounts payable) with relevant data and issues relating to carriers - Checking and authorisation of all freight forwarder and carrier invoices - Manage all insurance claims with freight forwarders and carriers - Perform regular (annual) business reviews of freight forwarders and carriers. Support the Head of Supply Chain & Logistics with rate negotiations - Cross departmental training of new starters on all aspects of supply chain - Review HMRC submissions and manage corrections through carriers/forwarders - Manage the inbound volumes for the warehouses - Support Retail Operations with logistics for shop closures - Support the Wholesale operations with logistics information - All other tasks that are deemed appropriate for the role and as determined by the Head of Supply Chain & Logistics.**
What we are looking for**:

- 3-4 years’ relevant experience in the logistics industry and working with freight forwarders - Knowledge of HMRC customs procedures for imports and exports - A high attention to detail - The ability to work autonomously and use initiative - Excellent problem-solving skills - High level of confidence and the ability to communicate effectively to all levels of staff - Proactive and a positive approach to work**
