Job Overview The Supply Chain Coordinator at Caravel Foods will play a crucial role in managing supplier documentation, handling international shipping, overseeing logistics, and maintaining warehouse inventory. This position requires a confident individual with strong communication skills, who will collaborate closely with purchasing and customer service teams. While food industry experience is desirable, it is not essential as the role emphasises efficient supply chain operations and logistics management. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate supplier documentation and records. Coordinate international shipping and logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of products. Oversee warehouse inventory management, including stock levels and order fulfilment. Collaborate with purchasing and customer service teams to meet operational needs. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with company standards. Identify opportunities for supply chain process improvements to enhance efficiency. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and logistics partners. Assist in preparing reports and analyses regarding supply chain performance. Skills Strong organisational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Proficient in supply chain management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of logistics and inventory management practices. Understanding of international trade and shipping regulations is a plus. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or inventory management (food industry experience preferred but not essential). Strong understanding of logistics processes and warehouse operations. Proficient in English; additional language skills are advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
