**Purpose**
To develop, implement, and oversee initiatives that promote environmental, social, and economic sustainability within the business.
The Sustainability Co-ordinator plays a crucial role in driving positive environmental and social impact while also contributing to the organization's long-term viability and reputation.
Note: In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.
**Nature and Scope**
The Sustainability Coordinator is part of the QESH department and reports to the Site Services Director. The role requires the Sustainability Coordinator to develop effective relationships with employees at all levels, particularly the management and leadership team responsible for the business’ sustainability efforts.
The role will require the Sustainability Coordinator to spend most of their time at the Orme Street site. However, business meetings, off site training and other visits will form part of the role. There may be the opportunity to travel within Europe and to the USA Headquarters

**Principal Accountabilities**
- Collect, organise, and analyse data related to the company's sustainability initiatives, including energy usage, waste generation and carbon emissions.
- Research best practices and industry standards for sustainability in the company's sector and compile relevant information for this team's review.
- Co-ordinate meetings, workshops, and presentations related to sustainability initiatives, including scheduling, agenda prep and follow-up actions.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of sustainability policies, procedures and documentation.
- Liaise between departments within the business to gather information and ensure alignment with sustainability goals.
- Support the preparation of reports, presentation and communications materials on sustainability progress and achievements for internal and external stakeholders.
- Track and manage sustainability related documents, contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Assist in the co-ordination of sustainability audits, assessments, and certifications, including gathering documentation and facilitating between auditors and internal stakeholders.
- Work with purchasing and supply chain teams to identify sustainable sourcing opportunities and track the sustainability performance of suppliers.
- Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends related to sustainability and provide updates to this team as needed.
- Support this team in setting strategic sustainability goals and priorities and tracking progress towards achieving them.
- Participate in internal meetings, committees, and working groups focused on sustainability to provide administrative support and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
