**The Role**

Our client is a UK-based leisure and holiday specialist based in London. Their business is focused on providing bespoke packages mainly for the Golf & Spa industry.

With a team of 200 employees, they are dedicated not only to growing and improving the current sites but also to developing and launching new ones. They are constantly growing the portfolio and retaining the buzz that comes with the 'start up' feel and culture.They are now situated over 3 locations, London, Brighton and the US.

They are looking for an experienced HR professional to join as a Head of People & Culture. This important role for our group of companies and they will lead and develop a people oriented, culture driven and legally compliant People Team, to ensure the highestquality of HR service to the companies and brands of the group.

**Responsibilities include**:
The Head of People & Culture will lead of the continued development of a high performing company culture in all brands and install values at all levels. The role has as seat at all leadership team meetings and reports to the Group CEO.

The Head of People & Culture will build & lead a People team to deliver on culture projects, support & coach managers and ensure the employee lifecycle is a good as it can be.
- Develop and deliver a group People Plan that focuses on embedding our brand values and enhances the culture.
- Deliver a People Team that actively partners with managers and leadership across the business
- Ensure a competitive reward and compensation programme is in place and annually reviewed.
- Ensure effective employee feedback are in place and review that these are happening i.e., 30 in 90, staff surveys
- Maintain and manage delivery of a consistent performance management framework, including objective setting, one to ones, quarterly appraisals and year-end review
- A great onboarding experience is delivered and our sales academy is developed further.
- People report (people metrics) for the Board meetings for each of the brands.
- Ensure that best practise and employment law is followed in all employee relations casework and employment policies.
- Deliver an effective management development programme that supports high performance working across the group.
- Support the CEO to engage with ESG initiatives including sustainability and philanthropy

**Personal attributes**:

- CIPD Level 7 Qualification (degree, diploma, qualification).
- Significant HR experience in a management or leadership role a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Some L&D or OD experience is on our wishlist but not essential.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills.
- Team management & development experience.
- Experienced working within a commercially driven business and possesses a high degree of business acumen
