This growing business is looking for a Head of People to join their business and become an integrated part of the team. As Head of People, you will be responsible for managing the People team and take the lead on operational and strategic HR delivery.This role will also act as a true business partner and key advisor to heads of departments, key stakeholders and employees in order to support the business to deliver exceptional service and value.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Partnering senior leadership, Heads of Department, and employees at all levels to support ongoing cultural transformation a
- Creating a reward approach that aligns individual performance and effectiveness against company performance and objectives
- Leading future structural change, manage any collective processes and partner
- senior leadership to ensure the business is well suited against changes in the residential property market
- Coaching heads of department and people managers on management fundamentals, encouraging manager ownership and accountability for people related outcomes
- Reviewing HR practices and ways of working, assessing suitability,
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a HR role with experience in change / transformation
- Up to date working knowledge of UK employment law and an excellent understanding of HR ways of working and practices
- Strong ER experience
- International experience desirable but not essential
- Solid experience coaching and advising stakeholders and senior people within a business
- Ability to work at both operational and strategic level
- Proven ability to use data and insight to inform decision making and influencing others
- CIPD is ideal but not essential
