**THE GIG**

As our EU Payroll Assistant, you will be providing a professional payroll support service, coordinating information between our internal HR teams, our payroll lead, and our third-party payroll provider for our EU payrolls.

**Key tasks will include**:

- You will work closely with the HR Operations and Payroll Lead to provide accurate payroll administration for EU employees
- Act as a point of contact for payroll queries
- Support the preparation of the payroll on a monthly basis (salaried & hourly paid employees)
- Ensure accurate information is reported to the payroll provider or providers
- Support all related duties involved with time, attendance and absence (and any other ad hoc payments) in line with current legislation
- Support to ensure all relevant social security, tax and other third-party payments are processed accurately and on time
- Produce monthly payroll reports as required
- Process all earnings and deductions (e.g., retail incentive bonuses, EU meal vouchers)
- Develop & maintain professional relationships with the outsourced payroll providers
- Continuously review ways of working and seek improvements and efficiencies
- You will support and provide cover for the EU Payroll Lead with day-to-day administration

- Exceptional attention to detail with good analytical and numeracy skills
- Experience in a fast paced, high-volume environment
- Able to demonstrate working knowledge and experience of EU payroll legislation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including advanced Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service focus
- CIPP qualified or working towards a professional payroll qualification
