BCMA Risk & Control is a growing team and the demands on the team continue to accelerate especially as a result of Transformation Initiative. In the coming years, the expectation is that there will be significant execution requirements to implement end to end new policies or regulations (or changes) cross regions, cross ICG. Hence a new team is needed to address these demands to support the BCMA Transformation Lead and Other R&C initiatives (as needed). The role is global in nature and will entail developing relationships and working with senior stakeholders within the business. It will also work with first line, second line and third line stakeholders across businesses and regions. It is is highly visible and therefore has a critical part to play in meeting key Citi regulatory deliverables, ensuring best business practices and enhancing the ICG risk and control framework. **Job Purpose**: This role will establish and lead a new team to be responsible for the execution of changes to its Risk & Control as a result of the Transformation programme (Transformation Execution Group). The team will work across all regions and products within BCMA to ensure end to end compliance with key regulations and policies. It will work in partnership with BCMA Risk & Controls teams in each region. The role will be within the BCMA Risk & Control team, and will report to the BCMA Transformation Lead. The role of the team will be to Provide extended execution capability to implement new or major changes to regulations and policies impacting BCMA from Transformation Develop a ‘BCMA Way’ to implement policy and regulation changes or new policies and regulations end to end - to standardise, continually improve execution practices Represent BCMA on working groups or steercos, where execution part of a Citi-wide or ICG-wide **Key Responsibilities**: Establish and lead the new team Represent BCMA on senior working groups and committees Evaluate gaps to specific policies, standards or procedures and formulate remediation plans Drive development of remediation plans and execute delivery, as well as handing off to ‘Business as usual’ teams to ensure ongoing sustainability Develop a methodology to standardise, continually improve risk and control remediation execution practices **Knowledge/Experience**: Excellent planning and task management skills; capable of seeing the bigger picture as well as strong focus on day-to-day execution. Strong risk, control, or compliance experience, in particular within institutional banking Experience working with business stakeholders across multiple businesses, regions and support functions, in particular institutional banking. Proven track record leading the execution of large regulatory sensitive projects Strong ability to work in partnership with other teams across regions In particular, the team head will need to have sufficient levels of credibility and experience to represent BCMA with senior management, regulators and other senior stakeholders Advanced degree preferred in accounting, risk, finance, business or legal disciplines.
