The Institutional Client Group “ICG” Chief Data Office (CDO) is responsible for governing Data Risk across the ICG. ICG is comprised of independent businesses (e.g., including Markets and Securities Services, Banking Capital Markets and Advisory, Treasury and Trade Solutions, Commercial Bank, and their respective sub-lines of business.) ICG CDO oversees and executes a broad range of risk activities to ensure compliance with Citi’s Data Governance Policy and Standards. These activities consist broadly of three key functions: (i) Risk Identification & Assessments, (ii) Process & Controls, and (iii) Governance & Accountability Framework. The ICG CDO VP for Process and Controls will support the Head of ICG CDO Process and Controls. This position will support the development of ICG-wide Data Governance Policy and Standards, the implementation of Data Controls, as well as the adoption of Data Risk Appetite within ICG. The person will also interact with stakeholders in the various ICG businesses as well as the Global Functions (e.g., Finance, Business Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit.) **Main Responsibilities**: - Support the development of ICG Data Governance Procedures and Standards which further ensure compliance with the Citi Enterprise wide Data Governance Policy. - Review and Interpret Citi wide Data Policies and Standards - Assess ICG Division Process, Procedures and Control Design for Data management. - Develop and Maintain ICG Procedures related to Data management. - Develop and Implement ICG Data Risk Control Framework - Leveraging a Citi Wide risk-based prioritization, partner with the various ICG businesses to drive Policy and Standards adoption. - Monitor ICG F2B Processes and Controls and support clean up of legacy control inventory for Data Management risk. - Leverage the integration and adoption of all necessary tools and processes for effective Data Risk and Control at the ICG level. - Participate in the development, enhancement, and implementation of ICG Data Risk metrics to measure effectiveness; this includes metrics to capture Data Risk Appetite. - Participate in the production of Board-level reporting to track progress of implementation and adoption of ICG Data Governance Policy. - Support the development of the ICG Data Risk Taxonomy which will define the data risks which ICG seeks to mitigate. - Working with Enterprise Risk and Control, and pursuant to a risk-based prioritization, implement the Data Taxonomy of Data Controls, which will mitigate identified data risks end-to-end across the data lifecycle. **Required Skills and Experience**: - Experience in a complex, financial organization; deep experience in risk management and control, compliance, internal audit, or data management. - Ability to develop key risk metrics and governance frameworks to demonstrate compliance with risk frameworks. - Strong understanding of the banking and capital markets, sales and trading, security services, commercial banking, or treasury and trade services businesses. - Exceptionally Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills to drive consensus and decision making across all levels of the organization and across all 3 lines of defense. - Strong technology technical skills. - Proven ability to act independently, work quickly and with careful attention to detail, juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a varied, fast-paced environment. - Track record of successful leadership and management of large complex projects that span multiple jurisdictions and cuts across organizations. - Proven ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines. - Strong analytical/problem solving skills; sound judgment and demonstrated leadership skills - Bachelor’s/University degree required. - **Job Family Group**: Decision Management - **Job Family**: Data/Information Management - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
