Summary ** Barista (Maternity Cover)** ** Salary: £26,118.00** At Andaz, which translates from Hindi as "personal style", we empower each colleague to be their authentic self and create memorable, personable experiences for our guests. ** Duties and responsibilities related to the Barista role** - Provide personalised and attentive service, anticipating guest needs and preferences to create memorable coffee experiences - Take responsibility for the setup, smooth operation, and closing of the café or coffee station - Maintain strong knowledge of the coffee and beverage menu, including origin, flavour profiles, brewing methods, and milk texturing techniques, to confidently advise guests - Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages in accordance with brand standards - Follow departmental standard operating procedures to uphold service consistency, cleanliness, and quality - Promote and upsell premium coffee blends, seasonal beverages, and food pairings to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise revenue - Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations ** About You** Previous experience as a barista in a premium hospitality environment is preferred.
