**Marketing Coordinator - Part Time (c.22.5hrs) - £30-35k pro rata**

Chiltern Connections Ltd is a well-established and growing technology business expanding into new sectors. It's a fantastic time to join our friendly team and this is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to specialise in business-to-business (B2B) marketing of technical products and services.

The Marketing Coordinator post is a new role to the business and would suit someone who has a few years’ experience of working in a technical or manufacturing marketing environment, and a good working knowledge of social media and digital communication best practice and content optimisation.

You will work closely with the Senior Management Team to plan our marketing activities, develop our social media presence, maintain our website, and coordinate our presence at industry events throughout the year.

We are happy to consider a range of flexible working options in terms of how the hours are split across a week and we will also consider a hybrid office/home based working arrangement. Please include any flexible working proposals in your cover letter.

**Key responsibilities**:
This position will encompass, but will not be limited to:

- Supporting the Senior Management Team in planning strategic marketing activities
- Creating a content-led digital media strategy for the year ahead
- Maintaining the website (currently being redeveloped) to ensure it is high on SEO rankings
- Managing our social media channels and ensuring key insights and analytics are reported into the wider team
- Creating interesting and insightful multiplatform content to attract ‘right-fit’ customers
- Establishing a set of brand guidelines for use and consistency across the business
- Designing templates, layout, and curating content for e-brochures, presentations, mailshots, and newsletters to demonstrate the capabilities and experience of the business
- Coordinating our presence at events such as trade exhibitions, conferences, and networking sessions and attending as required
- Supporting the planning and delivery of internal company events
- Ensuring that the CRM database is kept up to date for mailings and GDPR compliant
- Supporting the Sales Team to follow up marketing qualified leads as required
- Desk-based research to scope out potential new target markets as required
- Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of our products, services, clients, suppliers and market sectors
**Other Duties**:

- Assisting in the continuous development of Chiltern Connections
- Assisting other departments when necessary
- Complying with all health and safety aspects of employment at Chiltern Connections
**Essential Criteria**:

- A good working knowledge of B2B marketing in a technology focused environment
- A flair for creating meaningful content that reflects our values and brand with an ability to transform highly complex technical information into an engaging and informative story
- Experience of running effective social media campaigns and using social media management tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer etc)
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written command of the English language
- A confident and driven team player able to work proactively and autonomously to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
**Desirable Criteria**:

- Basic technical knowledge of web traffic metrics, paid social media advertising
- Understanding of SEO and Google analytics
- Communications and/or Digital Marketing experience ideally at least two years in B2B
- Relevant further education qualifications or CIM would be attractive but not essential

**Benefits**:

- Salary of £30k - £35k pro rata dependant on experience, plus performance-related bonus
