**Role Overview**:
The Mitie Foundation is Mitie's Charity arm of the business and exists to break down perceived barriers to employment for disadvantaged groups, within the communities in which Mitie operates. Working closely with the Programme Manager, this role will be responsible for the co-ordination and delivery of the Foundation's Employment programmes, such as Ready2Work.

This position is national and will involve frequent travel and working from home.

**Main Duties include**:

- Coordination and delivery of flagship programme, Ready2Work, Employability days and virtual sessions
- Liaising with colleagues across the Mitie business and clients to promote programmes and encourage participation
- Liaising with Foundation partners and referral providers that support underrepresented groups
- Co-ordination, delivery and reporting of employability programmes
- Work with the Programme manager to create and develop employability material/sessions and presentations
- Offer information, advise and guidance to participants
- Contribute to communication/social media/marketing material
- General administrative duties
- Support wider Foundation and Social Value initiatives when required

**Essential**
- Previous experience in a customer facing role
- Compassionate and empathetic
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong administrative skills
- Ability to manage own diary and work independently from home
- Highly motivated, pro-active, and willing to bring own ideas to the table
- Strong relationship management skills
- Engaging, enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Be willing to travel and lodge overnight when required

**Desirable**
- Previous experience or a passion for working with underrepresented groups
- Good understanding of social mobility
- Training/mentoring experience
- Social network familiarity
- Flexible and adaptable
- Driving License and use of own vehicle
