Mahindra Racing is a motor racing team based in Banbury, United Kingdom, competing with an Indian racing license. The team is currently competing in the electric FIA Formula E Championship since the inaugural season in 2014.
**Role Overview**:
This role is an exciting opportunity to join the world of electric racing.
Working in a busy organisation, assisting the Travel Coordinator requires a strong, highly organised administrator with excellent attention to detail. Accuracy and multi-tasking will be essential in a high-pressure environment.
Whilst this is an on-site role, there may be the opportunity to travel with the team occasionally.
**Main Responsibilities**:
- Help to coordinate accurate travel arrangements for Mahindra Racing Team staff
- Prepare and issue detailed travel itineraries for each event
- Provide on-call response to queries when needed, some out of hours and emergency assistance work may be required
- Keep up-to-date and accurate personnel files of all travelling staff,
- Accurate completion of the teams required documentation, including research, collection of data and any other supporting documents
- Negotiating group deals with suppliers so that the company gets the best possible rate
- Bench-marking suppliers and showing cost saving across bookings where possible
- Managing working relationships with travel partners/suppliers such as our Travel Agent
- Assumes any responsibilities and duties delegated by the Travel Coordinator or their designee
**Qualifications, skills and experience required**:
**Essential**
- Excellent organisational skills
- Fluency in English
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent IT skills
- Flexibility in terms of scheduling, including working weekends/overnight if necessary (very rare)
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A can-do attitude
- Strong communication (both written and verbal) skills
- Ability to work under pressure to deadlines
**Desirable**
- Previous Travel organisation experience is not essential but highly recommended
- Multilingualism is a plus
- Driving license
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
