**Description**:
The Mortgage administrator role sits within our operations team and involves all areas of administration and customer service related to post completion mortgage loans. The role is a growth role and will involve working with internal teams to ensure the smooth transfer of loans between the companies. A background working in the mortgage industry is ideal and it would be beneficial if you have admin and customer service experience as well. We can offer you a role in a growing team with the opportunity to progress within both the department and the team.
The mortgage administrator role will be full time office based for training and probation, following successful completion we can offer hybrid working to suit (Max 3 days home work 2 office based).
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Complete all post completion onboarding checks
- Ensure all required documentation has been received and added to the account
- Check Companies House registrations are completed in timeframes specified
- Provide a prompt and comprehensive telephone response to all new customer queries
- Provide a prompt reply to all written customer correspondence
- Check the accuracy of all legal documents and deal with any discrepancies or non-conformity
- Chase solicitors and customers as required
- Take ownership of any queries that arise and adequately investigate.
- Refer queries outside area of responsibility to obtain a satisfactory resolution.
- Liaise with other departments within the Company to ensure optimum service for the customer and minimise risk to the Company
- Produce required MI for onboarding activities
**Skills Knowledge and Expertise**:
- A mortgage lending and/or servicing background - Ideal
- Experince in Financial Services
- Experince in Administration and Customer Services
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve results
- Driven to provide excellent customer outcomes
- Ability to work on own initiative and as a member of the team
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and telephone skills
- The ability to work in a busy service level driven environment
- GCSE Maths and English grade C or above (or equivalent)
