**DEALERSHIP YARD OPERATIVE/SHUNTER DRIVER**

**(Class 1 Licence)**

**MBNI Truck & Van dealership in Mallusk are seeking to recruit a Yard Operative to assist in our operations.**

**This role supports multiple departments across the business, organising vehicles within a busy dealership yard.**

**Hours of work**:
07:00 - 15:30 Monday to Friday (40 Hour working week) - overtime payable after 40 hours.
- Flexibility required - Start/finish time may vary depending on business needs. _

**Job role**:

- Organising the company yard in an orderly and safe fashion complying with Health & Safety regulations
- Assist Workshop Controller and Service Team to organise workflow and minimise downtime
- Managing incoming traffic to avoid congestion within the yard
- Promote excellent standards of customer service, as a representative of Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van
- Being vigilant when manoeuvring vehicles to avoid damages

**Essential Criteria**:

- Clean UK driving licence - Minimum of Class 2
- Confident driving a variety of vehicles; from small commercial vehicles to HGV
- Enthusiastic, reliable and takes pride in their role in an
- Hard working & work on your own initiative
- Demonstrates the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent customer service
- Work effectively with and all internal departments
- A courteous and pleasant nature

**Desirable**:

- Previous experience in a similar role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.85 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
