_**Elevate Equipment Excellence as Our Newest Yard Operative We require a Yard Operative for our Mallusk depot to help maintain the yard, check machines thoroughly and assist both customers and delivery personnel with the loading and unloading of equipment.**_

**What you’ll do**:

- Carry out thorough inspections and cleaning of hire equipment effectively.
- Carry out full function and safety testing.
- Assist with loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working area.
- Instruct customers in the proper use of equipment and demonstrate operation when necessary (full training will be provided).
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental legislation, regulations, and company policies and procedures.

**What you'll need**:

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and complete tasks thoroughly.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience in the operation of forklift trucks and/or scissor and boom lifts would be advantageous.
- Driving experience.

**Hours of work**: Week 1: Monday - Thursday 6.00am - 3.30pm & Fri 6.00am - 2.30pm

Week 2: Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 6:00pm & Fri 7.30 - 4pm

41.5 hours per week plus 1 Saturday in 3 from 7.45am - 12.30pm

**Location**: 11 Mallusk Drive, Newtownabbey, Belfast, Co. Antrim BT36 4GX

**Salary**: £11.50 - £13 per hour
