Shunter Driver (HGV Class 2) Ref: R/SD/M/25 Fixed‑Term (6 months) | Monday–Friday | 37.5 hrs/week Day Shift: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM £14.13/hour (paid weekly) Join the Green Team Bryson Recycling is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated Shunter Driver to help us lead the charge in responsible waste handling and high‑quality recycling. If you have an HGV Class 2 licence and want a daytime shift that uses your skills without being on the road, this could be the role for you. All our waste collection vehicles are emptied automatically, so there is no manual handling or hooking trailers involved. Current C Class Driving Licence (HGV) Valid Driver CPC Card Flexibility to work overtime, as required Bonus Points If You’ve Got Valid Digital Tachograph Card RCV Experience Previous experience of shunting vehicles Strong awareness of Health & Safety and safe working practices Who are you? Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and colleagues A proactive, problem‑solving attitude with a commitment to delivering high‑quality service Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently without close supervision Comfortable moving around the depot, getting in/out of vehicles and working outdoors Deadline to apply: Monday 8th December at 12 noon sharp.
