**A class of 30 or a class of 1?**

**As a class teacher**, there’s one student that needs more support than others. However, you’ve got to think about the class and dividing your time between 30.

You want to provide the desperately needed support and intervention, but you don't have the time or resources.

**As an Education Specialist**, you can engage **one** young person with their education, focusing 100% on their specific needs and requirements.

**What does a typical day look like?**
- Support young people who cannot access education - we work with them outside of the school environment
- Work with children who have SEN & SEMH needs
- Engage young people with a variety of barriers to their learning
- Inspire the hope for a better future

**What are we looking for?**
- Experience working with learners who have a range of SEN, particularly ASD
- A proven track record of delivering English, Maths or Science at GCSE
- Commitment and understanding of Safeguarding
- Experience in engaging young people with often complex & challenging behaviours

Due to the nature of the work and our commitment to safer recruitment, you will undergo a thorough background check and will require an enhanced DBS and the Right to Work and remain in the UK. You're required to fully disclose spent, unspent and protected convictions, cautions, reprimands and warnings.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
