**Summary**

A large UK bank is seeking an IT Project Manager with extensive expertise. The position is entirely remote and pays a generous day rate within IR35.

Using agile techniques, you will be responsible for leading and delivering projects from requirements collection through implementation and commercialisation, in collaboration with Product Managers and other teams across the organisation. You will also beentrusted with keeping senior sponsors and key stakeholders fully always informed of the progress of your project(s), using existing reporting and governance mechanisms. It is essential that you pay special attention to detail in this job to ensure that yourproject(s) are always compliant with all applicable regulations and audit requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Ø End to end planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects;
Ø Stakeholder management; Management reporting via standard reports and pre-defined governance forums; RAID management; Management of projects within our project management tool PTS, to ensure: Milestones are reviewed and kept up to date; Risks and issuesare logged and managed; SDLC artefacts are uploaded in a timely manner; Approvals are obtained and documented; Budgets are carefully managed.

Ø Ensuring that both internal auditors and external authorities continue to find the initiative compliant.

Ø Directing personnel and resolving difficulties to ensure that project goals and requirements are accomplished, utilising knowledge and leadership abilities.

Ø Demonstrating a complete awareness of how various facets of IT project management contribute to accomplishing business objectives.

Ø Providing evaluative judgement based on study of factual data in complex and novel circumstances.

Ø Capable of persuading and influencing others through effective communication and diplomacy.

Ø Assessing risk when business decisions are made

Ø Ensuring that important procedures are adhered to and contributing to the establishment and maintenance of standards.

Ø Acting as a mentor to more junior team members.

**Key Qualities**:
Ø 3 to 5 years of experience managing software development projects

Ø Knowledge of the entire SDLC

Ø Ideally, exposure to the Agile methodology

Ø Basic commercial awareness

Ø Financial experience preferred but not required

Ø Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, as well as diplomacy and persuasion abilities

**Qualifications Required**:
Ø Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
