The Emergency & Acute Medicine Directorate is looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Band 3 Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) to come and join our team on the Medical Assessment Uni t. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team and become an integral part of our patient
- centred approach to care.
Acute Medicine has moved to a new model that consists of a Rapid Assessment Treatment Zone (RATZ), Assessment Unit (AU), Medical Short Stay Unit (A2) and the Older Persons’ Short Stay Unit (A1S).
The Medical Assessment Unit is a dynamic and busy unit within the Emergency and Acute Medicine Directorate. The unit provides care for acutely unwell patients w ith a variety of medical conditions.
The department is very well supported and has a number of staff that are highly knowledgeable to help you transition onto the ward smoothly.
We are looking for HCSW who will actively participate as a member of the team in assisting us in delivering high quality, essential care to our patients. The successful post holder will deliver patient care, maintai n a clean & tidy ward environment, assist with investigations, transfers and discharges.
