**Trade Surveillance Analyst - London**

Prestigious London based client requires a Surveillance Analyst to support the Trade Surveillance Team. You will be supporting the investment process by providing support and oversight for the first line of defence through investment related systems, controls,and surveillance activities. This will involve the Surveillance Analyst looking through the trade exceptions, performing initial level reviews using the surveillance tool and then flagging any issues further up the chain.
- Carry out initial investigations into potential market abuse exceptions, identified post trade
- Provide data, reports, analysis, and management information
- Update documented processes for tasks as well as house level and team documentation as required

**Essential**:

- Experience of Transaction surveillance/Trade surveillance/Trading Surveillance processes
- Good knowledge of global compliance requirements
- Foundation knowledge of asset management and a keenness to build upon this
- Experience gained in a similar role, implementing, and executing a surveillance process.
- Knowledge of the common market tools associated with transaction surveillance
- Strong analytical skills, detail focussed
- Ability to think pragmatically and proactively suggest solutions
- Team player and flexible in a fast paced environment
- Strong relationship management skills
- Articulate and able to represent Investment Control to senior business personnel effectively
