**Job Description**:
I have a fantastic opportunity for a Buyer to join a well-established Manufacturer in Clevedon.
- Salary: £32,600- Hours: Monday - Friday (8am - 4 pm or 9 am
- 5pm)- Free onsite parking- Available to start immediately- Up to 7.5% bonus- Life assurance**Buyer duties include**:

- Developing relationships with suppliers so important requests are handled with the necessary level of urgency.- Raising purchase orders through various methods and channels.- Resolve issues relating to accuracy of deliveries, quality rejects, invoice queries, overdue orders and production shortages.- Reacting to MRP system messages to expedite, defer or cancel open order lines.- Conducting business review meetings over the phone and face to face in Clevedon or at supplier sites.- Working with Engineering to manage obsolete and replacement parts. Raising temporary permits (concessions) and engineering changes.- Identifying savings opportunities through benchmarking, value engineering & optimising replenishment methods.- Represent purchasing in internal cross functional project meetings providing status updates relating to all the above activities.- Support Senior Buyers and purchasing managers with large volume supplier accounts by implementing system changes following strategic guidance.- Maintain document records, track personal performance against operational metrics and contribute to departmental reporting.**The ideal Buyer will have**:

- Good interpersonal and team working skills.- Strong negotiation skills.- Proven track record of hitting savings/delivering targets.- Capable of interfacing professionally with internal customers and suppliers.- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in Procurement.- CIPS level 4 or equivalent qualification or equivalent through experience.- Experience with sourcing side of New Product Introduction, Outsourcing and Continuous Improvement Projects.If you are interested in this Buyer position, please
