**Main Responsibilities**:

- Utilise effective timely communication and co-ordination with Engineering & Programme colleagues
- Utilise effective timely communication and co-ordination with Suppliers
- Enter supplier response details into ERP system/Excel Reports when requested.
- Work autonomously and flexibly including multi-tasking.
- Sending RFQs, part/supplier set up, updating prices, order raising and management.
- Send modified drawings and Bills of Material (BOM's) to suppliers
- Raising sample approval for parts.
- Effectively maintaining the quotation records.
- Escalating, Directing, and resolving supplier queries if they arise.
- Accurately maintains spreadsheets, databases and records of information to ensure the smooth running of the department.
- Generates reports for the Supply Chain team to review Shortages, Supplier Performance & Delivery Data on a weekly basis.
- Comply with confidentiality & data protection and safeguard supply chain.
- Update SAP in accordance with best practice.
- Review all part ordering methods are set up correctly and reviewed often, errors corrected.
- Assist Buyers with issues such as resolution of PODs, Order Maintenance, Booking in issues
- Make recommendations for process improvement in terms of workflow, procedures, training, compliance management
- Identifying savings opportunities through benchmarking, value engineering & optimising replenishment methods
- Works collaboratively within the Supply Chain Team to understand and support business strategy.
- Maintain document records, track personal performance against operational metrics and contribute to departmental reporting.
