I have a fantastic opportunity for an Inwards Logistics Specialist to join a well-established manufacturer in Clevedon.- Salary: £32,600 - £39,200
- Hours: Monday - Friday (9am
- 5pm)
- Free onsite parking
- Available to start immediately

- Up to 7.5% bonus

**Inwards Logistics Specialist duties include (are not limited to)**:

- Be personally responsible for ensuring the logístical inbound process runs smoothly, and that issues are identified and resolved in a timely and effective manner.
- Work closely with suppliers, internal departments, and other relevant stakeholders to organise efficient flow of inventory.
- Build strong working relationships with internal customers, suppliers, and delivery service providers.
- Arrangement of international shipments.
- Work closely with Buyers and Supply Chain team articulating reoccurring issues with suppliers for the use of supplier performance management.
- Monitor performance and day to day issue resolution.
- Helping to design, generate, and maintain multiple reports, ensuring the highest level of data accuracy.
- Working collaboratively within the Supply Chain Team to understand and support business strategy.
- Validating import paperwork to complete clearance instructions and obtaining import documents to meet business/HMRC regulations.
- Maintaining and verifying inbound inventory records and investigating any discrepancies.

**The Ideal Inward Logistic Specialist will have**:

- Min 2-3 years' experience in Logistics or equivalent role with transferable skillsets.
- CIPS level 4 or equivalent qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience of arranging shipments or transportation.
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement Projects.
