Each one of us shares a strong will and passion to continuously aim for change, reinforcing our commitment to creating "an even better tomorrow" **Role summary**: To contribute to providing the highest level of customer service and colleague experience and deliver an operationally excellent HR service ensuring that our high-quality service delivery standards are met and maintained. **To contribute to our overall aims of**: - Building a people team recognized as a customer centric, strategic partner supporting growth though our championing and leading the development of a great, personalized colleague experience built on fit for purpose people processes - Always being evidence based, data driven, digital To be an advocate and role model for Mitsubishi Electric’s Founding and Guiding Principles and vital behaviours so that we help to create an organisation that delivers on our promises to our customers. **Skills/Responsibilities**: - Providing an excellent service across a broad range of HR transactions, including recruitment administration (permanent and agency). - Offer and new starter administration, contract changes, flexible working request, absence recording, invoices, leaver administration, optimum system and process set up, management reporting and HR KPIs. - Support and deliver HR aspects of colleague onboarding. - Ensure that HR Databases / HRIS / filing systems are accurate and up to date. - Monthly reporting including Headcount reporting, HR Dashboard, Colleague Changes and Bradford Factor. - Responding in a timely manner to reference request for new starters, leavers, mortgages etc. - Help to review and streamline processes and our use of data and technology. - Produce ad hoc reports and correspondence as required o Review and propose digital solutions for any part of the colleague life cycle. - Participate in cross functional business projects / activities as required. - Always work in a safe and responsible manner to maintain positive wellbeing for self and others and be constantly mindful of the impact of activities on our environment. - To undertake any duties as agreed with the Manager consistent with the scope of the job. **Experience**: - Educated to level 4, with high standards of verbal and numerical reasoning. - Relevant experience working in an HR team. - Able to demonstrate a good understanding of the employee life cycle and effective people processes. - Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise, time management, attention to detail and committed to high quality. - High appreciation of dealing with sensitive / confidential information and GDPA legislation. - Digitally savvy and computer literate - good working knowledge and experience of all Microsoft Office packages, including intermediate level in Excel and experience of working with HR systems. - Able to build good relationships with line managers and colleagues. - Effective communication skills both verbal and written and adaptive in style to meet the needs of different colleagues and customers. - Highly collaborative in approach, solutions orientated, flexible and open and willing to try new things and support other members of the team when required. - Self-aware, open to feedback and with a strong commitment to personal and professional development. - A strong sense of respect for others and the value that different perspectives can bring to an organisation, s/he will be deeply committed to diversity and inclusion. **In return for your commitment, we will offer you some fantastic benefits**: - Generous annual leave allowance - 25 days per year, plus bank holidays increasing by one day with each year of service until 27 days per year. - Flexible Working - we offer a range of flexible working options that include working from home or hybrid working. - Pension. - Life Assurance. - Group Income Protection Scheme. - Private Medical, Dental Insurance and a Cash Plan Scheme - Single cover funded by Mitsubishi. - Access to Mitsubishi’s very own discount platform. - Colleague Referral Scheme. - Holiday Buy. - Long Service Awards. - Cycle to Work Scheme. - Sports & Social Club (Recent events such as theatre trips, Ascot, Paintball, The Darts) - Employee Assistance Programme including additional services Eldercare & Best Doctors. **Equality and Diversity** As the business environment around Mitsubishi Electric Group is rapidly changing, providing a workplace where employees can work to their full potential regardless of gender or age is essential to business development.
