Macdonald Burlington Hotel in the centre of Birmingham is found amid the stunning architecture of the city’s beautiful New Street - the hotel being the closest four* hotel to Grand Central & Birmingham New Street train station with just a stone's throw away. A charming and historic Birmingham venue, Burlington is steeped in history. Formerly known as the famous Midland Hotel, the hotel was the city's first railway hotel.

As our Receptionist, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding experience to all our guests.

Experience in a similar role would be helpful, but we will also offer training if you are willing to learn, take pride in your work and are committed to delivering our high standards. Providing our guests with a memorable stay every time is the ambition for our Room Attendants so if you’d like to play a key role in this, we’d love to hear from you.

**_Job description: _**
- To ensure consistent, efficient and friendly service is given throughout a guests stay.
- Check guests in/out of their bedrooms
- Ensure calls are transferred to the relevant departments quickly and efficiently
- Exceed customer expectations
- Have an excellent understanding of the hotel Front Office System
- Feedback guest comments to relevant departments
- Maximize all sales opportunities
- Weekend availability is required

**_Salary: _**
- £9.75/hour - full time contract
