We have a vacancy on the hotel front desk for a receptionist. As Receptionist, you will provide reception services for hotel guests and contribute to an overall positive experience from check-in through to check-out. You will need to be friendly, professional and confident. There are 2 reception day shifts 7am - 3pm and 3pm
- 11pm, you need to be flexible to work either shift and also on weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure an efficient reception experience for Guests, including check in/out, and complete audit procedures, as required
- Ensure that both the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors are kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times
- To be familiar with the day's business, including arrivals, departures, special requests, etc.
- To have thorough understanding of all requirements when checking-in and/or checking-out a guest (confirm booking, length of stay, package etc).
- Handle all guest enquiries and complaints in a professional manner
- Ensure all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out in accordance with Company policy.

Preferred skills:

- Must be flexible with regards to hours.
- Must have a good command of the English language.
- Must have excellent self-presentation.
- Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Should have previous experience in similar role.
- Experience using Fidelio/Opera or similar reservations system would be a significant advantage.

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour
