To act as the Administration Team Lead for a team that includes clinical and non-clinical staff. Provide administrative support to a range of staff.

Supervise a team of administrative staff and take operational responsibility for them and the allocation of work.

As part of the Adult and Specialist Directorate North Admin Hub you will report directly to the Admin Hub Manager.

You will be managing an admin team from assistant administrators to senior administrator and you will be part of an Admin Lead Team of 5 other leads, all working operationally to manage their services.

Our clinical teams deliver many NHS services, not only via inpatient and primary care settings, but also within the community. To set up and develop administrative systems, processes and procedures to support the efficient and effective management of resources against agreed financial and activity targets.

Actively encourage innovation and improvement from others.

To maintain effective team working within the Hub and with the clinical managers and teams who are supported by the Administration Hub.

To be accountable for ensuring that the Administration Hub maintains clinical and electronic records in line with Trust policies and procedures.

Assist with producing monthly activity reports that enable accurate forecasting of performance against financial, service and quality targets, standards and performance indicators.

Monitor and take action to ensure that all quality, productivity and profitability targets for the service are achieved.

Highlight areas of variance and opportunities to improve performance and proactively seek and utilise benchmarking data, and other internal/external resources, to compare service performance.

Ensure that decisive and timely action is taken to address unachieved targets and other areas of poor performance, under-achievement and risk.

Monitor access to services and waiting times and highlight any concerns to managers.

Improve the quality of services and contribute to the improvement of the service user experience.
