Pertemps Work Based Learning are currently working in partnership with a fantastic training provider who are based in the North West of England. They deliver training and learning sessions in order to make a positive impact on the lives of young people livingin some of the most disadvantaged communities in the UK.
As a Curriculum Development Lead, you will develop, manage and implement an effective curriculum development process/model.
This will be aligned with the Education Inspection Framework’s (EIF’s) quality of education and continuously develop, monitor, and improve on its implementation.
As a Curriculum Development Lead, you can expect:
- A starting salary of £35000
- Based in Liverpool
- 24 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
- Christmas Shutdown, 2 x Volunteer Holidays
Key Duties of the Curriculum Development Lead
- To lead on curriculum development to achieve the highest levels of Teaching and Learning
- To ensure that all curriculum is compliant with the awarding bodies and regulators
- To develop schemes of work and training materials across the different training provisions which include Apprenticeships, Employability, Skills and Traineeships
- To be fully compliant with Quality Assurance systems and processes to ensure consistency and continuous improvement
- Support and conduct outstanding Teaching Learning and Assessment in line with internal expectations
- Develop relationships with End Point Assessment organisations
- Plan and support the development of standardisation days
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience required for the Curriculum Development Lead
- A proven track record in Curriculum Development within Work Based Learning and Skills
- Excellent understanding of Ofsted requirements and curriculum development
- Experience in developing curriculum for face-to-face and online Teaching, Learning, and Assessment
- In-depth knowledge of Awarding bodies and understanding of the Quality of Education and Inspection framework.
- Extensive experience of curriculum development for Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Employability Skills
- Hold a recognised Teaching Qualification and Functional Skills level 2 in Maths and English. An IQA award would be highly desirable
