Access to HE

Level 2 & 3 Health & Social Care

T-Level in Health

Access to HE

Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Management
- Lead curriculum development, delivery, and quality assurance for Health & Social Care and Access to HE programmes.
- Manage and support teaching teams, including appraisals and professional development.
- Collaborate with NHS and external partners to enhance work placements and professional links.
Teaching & Learning
- Deliver engaging lessons and provide academic and pastoral support to learners.
- Oversee assessment planning, internal verification, and preparation for external moderation.
- Ensure high standards of teaching, learning, and student progress across all courses.
Quality & Development
- Drive continuous improvement through effective self-assessment and action planning.
- Lead on programme quality meetings and departmental reviews.
- Develop new curriculum opportunities in line with sector trends and employer needs.
Recruitment & Promotion
- Support student recruitment, enrolment, and induction processes.
- Contribute to marketing, taster sessions, and open events to promote the provision.
About You
You'll be an enthusiastic and dedicated educator with strong leadership qualities and a deep understanding of Health & Social Care education.
Essential:
- Degree or professional qualification in a relevant discipline (Level 4 or above).
- Recognised teaching qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years' teaching experience in Health & Social Care.
- Experience teaching Biology.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
- Strong understanding of curriculum design, assessment, and quality assurance.
Desirable:
- Advanced Science qualification(s).
- Assessor or Verifier awards.
- Experience of T-Level delivery.
- Knowledge of current developments in FE and Health & Social Care sectors.
