This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper and office administrator, to join the highly regarded Nomadic group of companies (Nomadic Projects and Nomadic Plumbing Ltd) and become a valuable member of our team, based in our beautiful offices in a historic family owned building.
Within this varied role, you will be responsible for the accounts, payroll and administration within the business.
You will have a keen eye for details and the ability to manage simple business accounts and associated administration with payroll, staff and suppliers, processing invoices from both sales and purchase ledger along with management of payments & bank reconciliations.
As a confident and experienced individual you will also have experience in Excel & Quickbooks which is essential along with a meticulous attention to detail.
The role requires a self-motivated, hard-working, reliable person who works well both independently as well as being a team player.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintaining the books.
- Fulfilling any office/general administrative requirements.
- Reconciling all bank accounts
- Reconciling Sales & Purchase ledgers
- Preparing & processing payroll and making sure the PAYE account is reconciled.
- Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts.
- Preparing & producing monthly management accounts
- Filing VAT return with HMRC.
- Preparing accounts annually up to trial balance
- Data analysis
**Other Duties**
- General HR administration and documentation
- Expenses check
- Recording Annual leave
- Being part of a team
- General admin assistance around the building
- Opening and closing the building
**Experience required**
- Credit Control
- Producing customer statements and chasing bad debt
- HMRC administration
- Payroll - monthly wage notification
- PAYE journal posting to Sage or Quickbooks
