We are responsible for the entire range of children’s education, health and social care services in all three boroughs. We are currently recruiting for Senior Business Support Officer. Delivering effective and high quality Business Support to one of our social care teams,enabling us to support our internal stakeholders, children, young people and their families. The postholder will also have supervisory responsibilities within their sub team.

About the role

Reporting to the Business Support Team Leader, the Senior Business Support Officer will need to provide competent, organised and professional support and will handle sensitive and confidential information. Responsibilities will include:

- Supervising team members to ensure statutory tasks are carried out to a high standard and in a timely fashion
- Preparing, distributing and writing minutes for high level multi-agency meetings
- Managing and responding to all requests received in central inboxes
- Working flexibly to provide support to the Business Support Team Leader where necessary
- Updating trackers, maintaining internal databases and ensuring statutory deadlines are met
- Ad hoc administrative duties to support the team such as processing workflows, data collection, updating spreadsheets, travel bookings, liaising and answering questions from internal and external customers

About you
- A passion for Achieving for Children’s vision, mission and values (trust, empower, respect) to support children and young people to live safe, happy healthy and successful lives
- Strong administrative skills including minute taking, managing competing priorities, being organised and working well in a team
- Strong organisational abilities including: time management, creative thinking, problem solving and multitasking
- Works well under pressure and is flexible with their approach to carrying out tasks
- Confident in supervising a team and their tasks to fulfil statutory functions
- Able to make good use of technology to perform functions and ensure work is timely and accurate
