We are responsible for the entire range of children’s education, health and social care services in all three boroughs. We use a Signs of Safety practice model and approach which ensures the voice of the child is at the heart of everything we do. The post holder will be based in the Business Support Team and will help to deliver administrative support to a range of professional teams across AfC in Windsor and Maidenhead using common processes and digital practices to meet business needs.
About the role
The Business Support Assistant will be managed by the Senior Business Support Officer
- They will require good ICT and technology skills to perform the role
- They will be delivering administrative functions. Duties will include, note/minute taking, preparing and organising business meetings, processing workflows, dealing with internal and external customers and providing a high quality customer experience
- There will be opportunities for coordination with other Business Support teams within AfC to ensure consistency across the organisation
- They will need to have good organisational abilities including: time management, creative-thinking, problem solving and multitasking
About you
To be a Business Support Assistant for AfC, you will be passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people as well as demonstrating the following points:
- Ability to work flexibly and independently with limited management oversight
- Have personal determination, drive, energy and ambition to overcome obstacles, achieve challenging objectives, celebrate success and deliver excellent outcomes for children
- Able to use a range of digital hardware or software and be digitally literate to support your work effectively
- Experience of using a wide range of Google packages, including Google Mail, Google Docs and Google Sheets
