This Local Authority are focused on ensuring every Social Worker feels valued, supported and making it an worthwhileand a rewarding career in which everyone can progress hence why we're looking to appoint a Qualified Social Worker who is dedicated to making a lasting difference to join their Older People team on a locum basis. The Successful Candidate will have the optionto work from home however will be required to work 1 day per week in the office.Duties of the Role: Working in a person centred way with people, carers and families to promote independence and well-being To primarily support older people and carers Engageand develop positive working relationships in order to effectively support people and carers involving advocates and other professionals where appropriate Ensure that people's records are accurate and recording is completed in a timely manner Identify, reportand investigate safeguarding concernsRequirements: Qualified Social Worker SWE Registered Double Vaccinated Experience within an Older People team All applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check.Social work can be challenging at times and hereat Aurora Resourcing we are always here to support and guide you through each contract.
