**Job Title**:HR Administrator

**Salary**:£25,000-£28,000 doe

We are currently recruiting for an HR Administrator for a life sciences logistics company based on the outskirts of Cambridge.

The role can be home based, in our Cambridge office or the combination that suits. You will be required to attend team meetings, meetings with employees and training sessions in our Cambridge office from time to time so should be able to travel to the officeon occasion.

The main purpose of this role is to enhance and enable a positive people experience through delivering a real-time service to employees across EMEA and supporting administrative activities, as well as producing and maintaining accurate people data and ensuringHR systems are accessible and accurate

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the delivery of administrative activities relating to the employee lifecycle including;
producing standard and non-standard correspondence e.g. letters, offers of employment, contracts, changes in employment and circumstances (including promotion, appointment, secondments, redundancy, settlements, relocation, family leave);
- conducting the Induction using the established format and completing Right to Work and ID checks in line with the current legal requirements.
- liaising with employees, managers, and suppliers to ensure timely completion of DPS clearance.
- managing reference requests.
- completing the leaver process accurately and promptly.
- Liaise with internal payroll to ensure the smooth management of compensation processes.
- Support benefit management requirements e.g. informing of new starters, processing invoices, collating reports to support renewals and updates;
- Support the maintenance of People Team Intranet pages ensuring accuracy of information, ease of use and continuous improvement.
- Assist with the provision of advice and support to managers and employees:

- be first point of contact for people queries received via People mailbox;
- answer simple employee queries regarding contract terms, holiday entitlement etc.;
- provide basic information on People processes, policies and procedures, referring more complex enquiries to other team members as appropriate;
- ensure that all enquiries are dealt with promptly.
- Assist the wider People team to ensure effective and consistent communications on People matters across the business including supporting creation of the quarterly newsletter and other communication channels.
- Support the delivery of processes, administration and policies relating to Consultants and Agency Workers, ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice approach.
- Take ownership of own development and maintain an up-to-date Learning and Development record.
- Identify best practice from peer organisations to proactively drive innovative, business responsive People practices encompassing the employee lifecycle.
- Manage HRIS databases in compliance with current legislation and company standards including:

- maintaining and periodically spot checking the HR System database to ensure data accuracy and producing scheduled or ad-hoc reports as required;
- assisting in the development and updating of HR System processes by liaising with external providers to highlight and resolve any queries;
- keeping paper and electronic employee records accurate and up to date by processing all employee status changes in a timely manner;
- Manage the creation and maintenance of internal People Team guides and HR System manuals.
- Support the HR & Systems Advisor (EMEA) in delivering projects and activities as required.
