Head Veterinary Receptionist

**We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head Receptionist to join our team here at Seadown Veterinary Hospital**
This is a full time position, working a minimum of 36 hours a week including participation in the Saturday rota. You will predominately be based at Hythe but cover may be required at other branches.
As a Head Receptionist, you will provide a friendly and efficient service to our clients and their animals. We are a professional and personable team working in a very challenging and busy environment, which makes the role varied, interesting and no day is ever the same
We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and organisational skills as well as strong leadership skills. Experience managing teams will be highly beneficial. Previous receptionist or customer facing experience is essential. Previous veterinary industry experience would also be highly beneficial.
You will need to have the ability to remain calm under pressure and also show empathy towards everything that is thrown at you, from sharing the excitement of a puppy's first visit to the vets or comforting a client who has received some bad news.
The salary range for this position will be from £22,000 - £31,000 (pro rata) depending on experience.
