**Category Manager**

**Refresco UK - Kegworth Head Office (just off Junction 24 of the M1)**

**Refresco** the world's largest independent soft drinks manufacturer seeks a passionate, agile and expert **Category Manager **to join our Commercial Marketing function based at our Head Office in the East Midlands. As CategoryManager you will be analysing category market performance and trends plus key drivers and consumer movement and behaviour, and critically providing insights from this data to make recommendations and solutions for our many customers.

**About the Role**

You report to and work closely with the Senior Category and Innovation Manager, using data from various sources, including IRI and Kantar to extract the critical information, analysing the detail and telling a story, providing insights to both your internalcustomers from commercial and marketing, and your external customers covering the full spectrum across private label (retail), brands and contract manufacturing.

You are already a qualified, experiencedCategory Manager, so you probably know what is involved, but to be transparent, here are some of your key tasks and responsibilities as **Category Manager** at Refresco UK:

- Utilise data across multiple platforms to provide insight led recommendation across all relevant categories and customers.
- Support the development of category initiatives, leading both internally within cross functional teams, and externally within our customers.
- Support the wider commercial and marketing teams with insights to help shape strategies by category and channel.
- Develop new and existing relationships with customers and data providers to support the build of the future vision within the category.
- Contribute to strategic innovation/NPD projects using insights to help define the ultimate in-store proposition by category/customer.

You will need to travel to the Refresco UK sites on occasion, including some overnight stays.

**About you**

You have several years’ experience as a customer facing Category Manager ideally within the FMCG industry. Of course, using IRI and Kantar, you will love extracting data, analysing and number crunching and will be adept at drawing out the key messages, andpresenting this in a succinct format to internal and external customers. You will be a very good communicator and enjoy interacting with colleagues at all levels of seniority, building positive relationships with all. The ability to respond quickly and jugglemany tasks is also vital as you will often need to revise your ‘priority job list’

The salary for this role is dependent on experience. We offer an annual bonus incentive and a good company pension scheme, personal private healthcare, 3x basic salary life assurance plus 25 days holiday in addition to bank holidays (with the option to purchaseadditional holidays) and access to a sports and social fund. Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 5.00, Fridays 8.30 - 4.00 and we have free, onsite parking.
