**Senior Brand Development Manager - Refresco UK - Kegworth, Derbyshire (just off Junction 24 of the M1)**

**About the Role**

You are part of a close-knit Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Marketing, but you will have a high level of autonomy, we don’t believe in micro-management at Refresco You will work with Ocean Spray to identify appropriate NPD opportunities for the3 year rolling plan and deliver these to achieve new sales and profitable growth for the Ocean Spray brand. You will be 'on it' - closely following Ocean Spray key performance measures and acting where required to achieve agreed targets.

To achieve your goals, proactively managing the brand with microscopic detail, you will need to work very closely with your colleagues, building strong relationships, in Brand Management, Trade Marketing, Category Management and colleagues in the wider Commercialteam, and communicate cross functionally with Supply Chain, Finance and Procurement.

You are, or have been, in a similar role, so you probably know what is involved, but to be transparent, here are some of your key tasks and responsibilities as a **Senior Brand Development Manager** at Refresco:

- Develop, own, and execute the relationship with the brand owners, proactively dealing with and issues or complaints.
- Establish consumer and customer insights and make informed recommendations.
- Understand and have an in-depth knowledge of the soft drinks market, trade channels, customers and competitors.
- Extend existing Ocean Spray distribution in to new market sectors via channel and product development.
- Propose and deliver specific promotional activity for different customers and trade channels for new and existing Ocean Spray products.
- Prepare presentations for internal and external customers to retain and grow brand listings and space year on year.
- Update forecasting team in Supply Chain of any changes to the product mix / profile for production runs and timescales.
- Target 99.5% ex-factory average customer service for the trading year.

You will need experience in a client management role, as strong relationship skills are imporatnat internally across all levels and of course externally, learned within the FMCG industry sector, and preferably food and / or drinks manufacturing. You willbe able to demonstrate that you have successfully grown a brand via close client relationship management.

You have real passion for what you do, you don’t need anyone to motivate you and you enjoy working autonomously. Project management is really important in this role too.

You are highly commercial, comfortable working with numbers and trend data, paying great attention to detail and able to analyse situations and respond quickly with decisions. However in a fast-paced environment, sometimes you will need to make decisionswithout all the facts and figures available, based on your knowledge and instinct, and you don't mind this

You use your excellent communication skills to influence others, and you are confident making internal and external presentations.
