**Finance Business Partner - Brands - Refresco UK**

**Based at our Kegworth Head Office, Derbyshire (just off Junction 24 of the M1) - hybrid working
Refresco, the world’s leading independent soft drinks producer, seeks an agile, commercially minded **Finance Business Partner, to business partner our marketing team **. This is a varied role, a mixture of business partnering and management accounting, and is a great opportunity if you already have FMCG business partnering experience to join a growing FMCG organisation setting up for our next growth phase in the UK.

**About the Role**

As Finance Business Partner, Brands, you report to the Finance Controller, but you will have a high degree of autonomy, managing and prioritising your own workload. Your key senior stakeholders who you will need to partner with closely are the Commercial Director and the Head of Marketing.

You are already a qualified, experienced Finance Manager or Finance Business Partner, so you probably know what is involved, but to be transparent, here are your key tasks and responsibilities as **Finance Business Partner **Brands **at Refresco:

- Documentation, influencing and supporting the Marketing team to determine pricing and marketing strategy for the Refresco Own Brand business.
- Re-costing full product range to deliver in year price increases to customers.
- Brief, explain and put in context for external Auditors and Group Finance based in Rotterdam, Netherlands.
- Prepare management accounts and reports, including reconciliation of month end, for Own Brands.
- Clear down balance sheets and accruals ensuring only those that are required remain.
- Involve in SAP system implementation and automation projects and initiatives as part of the overall migration of Refresco Finance from manual processes to full automation
- Work with the sales and marketing teams to understand the opportunities for each brand and create action plans to gain achievable volume and profit forecasts.
- Provide insights, turning data into actionable, clearly thought out, recommendations related to costing and pricing proposals, taking all commercial details into account.
- Support key customer negotiations, influencing pricing and promotional activity.
- Deliver insightful reporting and commentary on brand performance and profitability - making recommendations for change where appropriate.
- Propose annual brand price increases based on collaborative work with marketeers, considering raw material pricing and the competitive landscape. Support costing in new products with Commercial and Marketing.

**About You**
You will be a qualified finance professional - ACCA or CIMA. As this role is a mix of management accounting and finance business partnering, you may currently be in a management accountant role with audit responsibilities but have the right attitude and values to develop the business partnering aspect of the role, or you might already be a finance business partner looking to expand and develop your career supporting our commercial and marketing teams.

Either way you need to be comfortable working autonomously, a self-starter, managing your own workload and priorities, confident and self-assured to work with Auditors, brief and present information to them plus your senior internal stakeholders.

FMCG experience is preferred (related industries such as Pharmaceuticals, Retail, or other Manufacturing background could be considered) - so that you can fully understand the fast-paced nature of the Refresco business and where the money comes from

**Salary & Benefits**
The salary for this role is competitive and dependent on experience. We also offer an annual bonus incentive and a good company pension scheme, personal private healthcare, life assurance plus 25 days holiday in addition to bank holidays.

Working hours are Monday - Thursday 8.30 - 5.00, Fridays 8.30 - 4.00 with the option of working remotely two days a week and free onsite parking.
