In this pivotal role, you’ll work closely with the Commercial Director and partner with Sales and Marketing teams to deliver strategic financial insights. Your core focus will be on product costings, helping shape pricing decisions, profitability analysis, and commercial strategy. Provide decision support on costing and pricing proposals, considering brand strategy, competitor positioning, profitability, and long-term objectives. Deliver reporting and analysis on brand performance and profitability, including recommendations for improvements where relevant. Ensure promotional, discount, and marketing costs are accurately allocated for clear brand performance reporting. Coordinate and support financial planning processes for branded products, including the 3-Year Plan, Budget, and Forecast. Collaborate with stakeholders to propose annual price increases, considering raw material costs and the competitive landscape. Work with sales and marketing teams to identify brand opportunities, creating actionable plans for volume and profit growth.
