**Cristal Care are looking for a new Team Leader to join the team at our Supported Living service in Langold.**

Cristal Care is a care provider based in South Yorkshire specialising in supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism and associated complex needs. We are passionate about the care we give and the support our residents receive.

- to be a leading provider in our specialism and to enhance the lives of the people we support in whatever shapes success for them as an individual.

Supported Living is one of our services in Langold which supports people who all have support needs, including autism, learning disabilities, who live within their houses.
- Leading, managing, supervising and supporting a team of support workers, through line management and role
- modelling, ensuring that Cristal Care policies and are implemented fully.
- Responsibility for the establishment in the absence of the Registered Manager.
- Ensuring that high standards are maintained for staffing, the resources, fabric of the buildings and the health and welfare of residents.
- Ensuring conformity with company expectations and CQC standards for quality and safety.
- Creating, monitoring and evaluating the implementation of individual care and activity plans for the residents.
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with our residents, parents and other family members, social workers, establishment staff, other professionals with a concern for residents’ needs, such as general practitioners, psychologists and protection agencies.
- Ensuring that all residents’ medication is ordered, administered, recorded and stored by trained responsible staff according to Cristal Care policies.
- Ensuring the premises are kept clean and hygienic throughout and systems are in place to control the spread of infection, in accordance with relevant registration, published professional guidance and the purpose of the home.
- Checking that any person entering Supported Living has a right to do so and their visit is recorded in accordance with Cristal Care.
- To cover other Team Leaders annual leave as required.

**Key Skills/ Experience**:

- Healthcare Senior/ Team Leader: 1 year required
- Level 3 Health & Social Care required
- Excellent communication and the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels
- Good written communication skills
