**We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader to cover weekend shifts working across 4 days with a total of 40 hours worked over the 4 days.**

**The static shift pattern is: Friday 10.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., Saturday & Sunday 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m., Monday 6.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.**

**The hourly rate will be £13.17 plus 12.5% shift pay = £14.82 per hour.**

**Main responsibilities**
- To support the Warehouse Manager with the day to day running of the warehouse. Support in creating an environment promoting employee morale, encouraging the team to have pride in their workplace, coupled with a high level of commitment.
- Scheduling and supervising the activities and the function of the team, assigning daily tasks, and evaluating the work of the team ensuring timely and correct completion of all task activities.
- To assist Warehouse Manager in maintaining regular and effective communication within the Team and attend and participate in daily briefings.
- To record occasions of poor timekeeping / absence for the team by completing return to work interviews and escalate as and when required. To support with all new starter paperwork, liaising with HR and Payroll when required.
- To conduct probation/performance reviews ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures are adhered to. Investigate and support in disciplinary or grievance hearings.
- Effectively manage holidays, agency requirements and sickness to ensure staffing levels are sufficient to manage the day’s work.
- To be flexible in assisting around different areas of the Manton Wood facility in response to business and customer needs and carry out reasonable requests.
- Implement, manage, and lead by example the Standard Operating procedures, ensuring they are current and up to date with all staff trained in the process.
- Ensure all products are stored in the allocated location and handled correctly.
- Manage stock levels through the stock replenishment system and ensure any issues with regards to the stock profile are reported immediately. To support the Warehouse Manager with the full stock take ensuring all paperwork is prepared in advance.
- Ensure all MHE is clean and tidy and fit for use. All MHE users have recorded the daily checks and any faults are reported to the Warehouse Manager
- To maintain a clean, safe, secure, and welcoming environment.
- Support the effective management of team, ensure that the resourcing requirements effectively meet the business service requirements, encompassing training, supervision and encouraging multi-skilling of the workforce, within employment law guidelines, health & safety and in line with budget/forecast cost control.
