**The Role & Team**
North East Lincolnshire Council’s Public Health service is seeking to recruit to a permanent Public Health Officer (Substance misuse) post within the team.

The post will report to the Public Health Commissioning Lead (Substance Misuse) and will lead a number of projects relating to alcohol and other drugs, supporting the local authority’s implementation of the Government’s 10-year drug plan “From Harm to Hope”.

The postholder will work with a range of service providers and partners to improve health outcomes for those affected by substance misuse, including (amongst others) We Are With You, Primary Care, the Integrated Care Partnership, the Comeback (NEL recovery community), the carer’s service, criminal justice organisations and the NELC Wellbeing Service.

**The closing date is Friday 9**th** September and interviews have been tentatively scheduled for Tuesday 27th September.*
