We're looking for someone with strong project planning skills and a sharp eye for detail, who can communicate confidently across a range of audiences. You’ll need to be comfortable managing competing priorities with tact and diplomacy, and committed to your own continuous professional development. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.

You’ll work closely with Public Health Programme Managers, Principals, and Consultants, contributing to the development and implementation of strategies that make a real difference in people’s lives.

**What will your day look like?**

As a Public Health Officer, your day will be varied, you’ll take the lead in coordinating and supporting a wide range of public health projects, with a particular focus on implementing Tobacco Control Strategies across Northern Lincolnshire. You’ll prepare and present reports tailored to different audiences, track progress against key outcomes, and assist with evaluations to ensure programmes are delivering real results. A big part of your role will involve building and maintaining strong partnerships across health, local government, voluntary, and community sectors. You’ll work collaboratively across organisations to drive forward shared public health objectives.

**Who are we looking for?**

We’re looking for someone with excellent written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the confidence to work across a range of organisations. You’ll bring a genuine passion for public health and a drive to improve lives, along with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining high standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or progress their career in public health. Offered as a two-year fixed-term contract with the potential for extension, the role also includes access to personal development opportunities to help you grow your knowledge and expertise.

**Why join us?**

Because this isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to be part of something bigger. You’ll be joining a passionate, forward-thinking public health team that’s committed to making a real difference in the lives of local people. Every day brings the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, shape innovative health strategies, and collaborate with partners across sectors. We value your growth as much as your impact, offering a supportive environment with access to personal development and learning opportunities.
