An HR Administrator is required to work for a leading Aerospace Company based at Patchway, Bristol. In 2021, we opened our brand new Global Technology Centre (GTC) in Bristol. The purpose of this fantastic facility is all about the decarbonisation of Aerospace.Through innovation, skills and collaboration, we are building the aircraft of the future - working closely with customers, suppliers and academia. The centre is a modern space where we are truly inclusive, valuing the different skills and experience to comeup with solutions to drive sustainability in our industry and our target of net zero emissions by 2050.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the HR team at the GTC in developing a workplace and culture for a brand new facility.
The HR Administrator will report into the HR Manager and work closely with the HR Officer to support with the administration across the employee lifecycle for ~300 employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment administration and on-boarding new starters
- Completing right to work checks
- Processing probationary reviews and confirmation letters
- Responding to reference requests
- Drafting employment changes letters and administering the change
- Recording and reporting on sickness absence
- Off boarding administration
- Maintaining records on electronic HRMS including setting up new starters and any employee changes
- Coordinating training and development events including managing invitations, room booking, attendance tracking
- General scanning and filing material in line with data protection and document retention details
- Supporting local initiatives and projects to raise employee engagement and help make us a Great Place to Work.
- Any other general administrative assistance to team members
The jobholder will have previous administration experience in an HR environment. You will be fully competent in Microsoft Office packages including Word and Excel. You will have the confidence to take own initiative following guidance. A positive attitude,proactive approach and professional image is essential at all times. You will be enthusiastic, friendly and have a professional telephone manner as well as highly organised with the ability to prioritise. You must be able to work in a highly confidential manner,with high levels of integrity, as required within the role.
