Duration: initially 2 months contract**

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Assistant/ HR Support Desk Advisor to work for a leading organisation, based in London.
**Key Responsibilities**:
The Professional Services Hub (PS Hub) brings together professional services staff who are responsible for a variety of customer facing and back-office service activities. The PS Hub is committed to delivering high quality and efficient services, with an emphasison customer experience. Reporting to the One Desk HR Manager - One Desk HR Advisor is the first point of contact for all employees and departments. The team are focused on providing an outstanding customer experience, ensuring that queries are dealt with efficiently.
**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Take ownership of employee queries and see them through to resolution, with a keen focus on outstanding customer service, working within scope of personal and team workload and agreed handoffs.
- Clearly understand service delivery boundaries and hand offs and operate within them.
- To collaborate and engage with the wider HR and business community to provide a responsive, consistent and forward-thinking HR service.
- Be seen as an expert in general and specific HR policies
- Maintain and update online policy and procedure reference documentation - Knowledge Bases and FAQs.
- Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure a consistent approach to advice.
- Analyse caseload individually and across the team and identify improvements and issues.
- Develop effective, positive relationships with customers, departmental contacts and Professional Services colleagues, to create a dependable working relationship and positively assist in meeting their business needs.
- Identify, raise and be willing to implement continuous improvement opportunities that will have a positive impact on the level of service our employees receive
- Provide a flexible working approach, with the ability to support the wider HR Services team when required
**Key skills set**
Previous HR assistant experience
GCSE (A-C) English and Maths or equivalent
Ideally have the ability to undertake basic numerical calculations in regard to leave and gross salary queries
Proven experience of a consistently high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
A team player, able to meet service standards at a personal, team and department level
Proven experience of managing own workload through effective prioritising, time management, organisational skills, and able to both motivate oneself and colleagues
The ability to communicate effectively, have empathy with, and relate to a customer, providing logical and accurate advice to customers.
Computer literacy and familiarity with the Microsoft suite of software to intermediate level in Word, Excel and Outlook.
Proven experience and working knowledge of UK Right to Work legislation, recruitment or employment administrative procedures, and customer service focused practices, within a large complex organization is desirable
Experience of using a CRM system, such as RemedyForce, to manage customer correspondence, processes and service delivery via reporting is desirable
Experience of using a HR and payroll database (Oracle) would be advantageous
