**Overview**
**Duties**
- Assist in the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Work as directed by other nursery colleagues in all nursery rooms.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
- Participate in children's activities, indoors and outdoors alongside colleagues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery environment.
- Observe and record children's progress, sharing insights with senior staff as needed.
- Work with team members to create an inclusive atmosphere that respects diversity.
- Undertake other duties to provide a clean, safe, and healthy nursery and work place environment.
**Requirements**:
- Experience working in a childcare setting
- A background in early childhood education or related qualifications would be advantageous.
- Able to work as directed by nursery colleagues.
- Good communication and listening skills
- Have a positive approach in the work environment.
- Ability to work alongside and support a team of nursery practitioners.
- A genuine love for working with children and supporting their development.
The Nursery Assistant would be expected to work during term-time dates, Monday to Friday. In-house training, mentoring and support is offered to suitability qualified nursery assistant.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

- Nursery: 1 year (required)

- Driving Licence (preferred)
