My client, a successful and well-established manufacturing business based in Upminster is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Being the first point of contact for telephone calls, redirecting calls to the relevant person and taking messages, dealing with visitors face to face, always presenting a professional environment.
- Raising sales orders on SAP upon receipt of purchase orders from customers, following through to despatch
- Receiving incoming deliveries
- Packaging items for despatch and sending via courier to various destinations
- Dealing with customer enquiries, compiling prices, checking stock availability
- Raising quotations on the system as requested by sales engineers and send to customers
- Updating the quote register and following up on quotations sent
- Updating the system with quotations won/lost
- Raising purchase orders and placing with suppliers on approval
- Processing customer leads sent from Head Office
- Resolving invoicing queries, both external and internal
- Ordering office supplies
- Assisting with stock taking as required
- Assisting salesman daily as required
- Providing general support to UK Sales Administrators covering holidays / sickness
- Actively participate in ensuring company performance measures are met, in particular those related to service levels.
- Previous administration experience essential
- High attention to detail skills required
- Ability to communicate effectively
