**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cash Book Administration**: Manage and maintain accurate cash book records.
- **Banking Preparation**: Ensure seamless preparation of banking transactions.
- **Cash Allocation to S/L P/L N/L**: Precise allocation of cash to the appropriate ledgers.
- **Bank Reconciliations**: Daily reconciliation of bank accounts for accuracy.
- **Month End Closedowns of S/L**: Timely closure of month-end processes for Sales Ledger.
- **All group VAT Returns**: Prepare and submit VAT returns promptly.
- **Statement Entry**: Efficiently manage statement entries.

**Key Performance Standards**:

- **Efficiency**: Ensure all bank statements are entered within a working day.
- **Daily Posting**: Post all cash transactions daily.
- **Timeliness**: Close month-end procedures within 5 days of the month-end.
- **Reconciliation**: Reconcile cashbooks and bank accounts daily.
- **Bank to GL Recs**: Prepare monthly bank to GL reconciliations.
- **VAT Compliance**: Submit VAT returns in a timely manner.

**Requirements**:

- **Office Presence**: Must be willing to work in the office.
- **Excel Skills**: Possess reasonable proficiency in Excel.
- **Data Processing**: Familiarity with efficient data processing.
- **Accountancy Knowledge**: Demonstrate a solid understanding of accountancy principles.
- **Team Player**: Collaborative attitude towards teamwork.
- **Pressure Handling**: Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment.

**Qualifications**:

- **AAT Level 3 or Higher**: Minimum AAT Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
