- Established in 2013, Product Partnerships Ltd (PPL) is an outsourced consumer credit compliance company supporting a variety of well-known high street retail firms within the motor, furniture, leisure & fitness, and technology sectors.
- Our clients are B2C transacting through retail bricks and mortar, online, and omni-channels, offering consumer credit products to facilitate the purchase of their products and services.
- We have an experienced and highly skilled team of professionals who understand our clients and Appointed Representatives’ (AR) needs well and are passionate about delivering high levels of personal service to create good customer outcomes.
- As part of our continuing growth plans, we are seeking to strengthen our already highly experienced team by recruiting a Compliance Officer to support our Compliance Monitoring Programme.

Key responsibilities:

- FCA handbook knowledge related to systems and controls, DISP, CONC and ICOBs, ideally gained in a Compliance Advisory or Monitoring role.
- Sales File checks.
- Website audits.
- Call listening.
- Mystery shopping reviews.
- Social media monitoring.
- Financial promotions approvals.
- Audit activity including pre-audit and reporting activity.

Other tasks:

- Assist with general compliance queries from clients and ARs.
- Follow the set policies and procedures around managing conduct risk and appropriate Appointed Representative oversight.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and ARs.
- Assist with regulatory reporting and changes using the FCA portals
- Support the Compliance & Risk Function in producing content for Board and internal committee reporting.
- Carry out additional ad-hoc tasks or projects as may be required by Compliance and senior management from time-to-time.
- Enhancing own understanding of regulatory landscape and taking learning opportunities that are offered

The person:

- Compliance Monitoring experience in an FCA authorised firm.
- FCA handbook knowledge related to systems and controls, DISP, CONC and ICOBs, ideally gained in a Compliance Advisory or Monitoring role.
- Ability to communicate well with internal team members and external cliients.
- Willing to commute to the Leeds office weekly (min 1 day pw) albeit PPL operate a flexible work from home approach.
- Willingness to be 'hands on’ and able to grow with the business.
- Someone with a positive optimistic and enthusiastic attitude.
- Flexible and willing to tackle a variety of ad-hoc and interesting tasks.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Good standard of written and verbal English, spelling and grammar.
- Efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise workloads.
- Professional and capable of interacting well with a variety of corporate clients
